Extract of Guidelines issued by Rashtra Sant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University regarding admissions

ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATE

Every student who passes the qualifying examination from other Boards/Universities and desires to seek admission for higher courses of this university should submit and Eligibility Certificate to be obtained from the university on payment of a prescribed fee of Rs. 100/- (One Hundred Only) to be obtained before submitting application form for admission to the College/Department. All admissions of the students without Eligibility Certificates will be treated as cancelled.

CASTE CERTIFICATES

Whenever admissions to students are granted on the basis of Caste reservations. Caste Certificates and Caste Validity Certificates along with domicile Certificate will have to be submitted while taking admission.

ADMISSION TO MBA COURSE

A candidate who has been awarded bachelor's Degree in any discipline of a statutory University in India with minimum 45% in the aggregate (40% for a candidate belonging to the reserved categories) shall be eligible for MBA admission provided he/she passes CET Examination)

ENROLMENT OF STUDENTS

The enrolment forms should be filled in by the students concerned in their own handwriting. 

As soon as the admission of students are completed as per provisions of relevant Ordinance, the lists of all students admitted to various Courses/Classes medium wise for the academic session should be submitted to the University in the prescribed form (form B) in DUPLICATE by 16th August 2005 positively. (Ordinance No. 2 Para 4) and total strength of boys and girl's be indicated separately in the Form-B.

Enrolment applications, in prescribed form of all the candidates including those immigrating to this University be submitted to the University on or before 16th August 2005 along with requisite Statement "A" duly arranged alphabetically (with surname last) Original copies of mark sheets of qualifying Examinations and migration certificates issued by the Board / University be also submitted.

Relevant Certificate, such as migration, Mark list, passing Certificate etc. Submitted after the due date or any type of discrepancy cy pointed out by the office after the due date should be accompanied by late fee Rs. 50/- for discrepancy per month. A student who does not get his enrolment finalized by the 1st February of the academic year concerned for any reason whatsoever, shall be liable to have his admission to the course cancelled. Such a student shall not be allowed to take the university Examination

Documents to be submitted at the time of submitting the enrolment forms.

The students who have passed the last qualifying Examination as an External Candidate and have sought admission for further courses of study as a regular student in your college / Department are required to Enroll themselves afresh fulfilling prescribed condition.
